Ledgent Finance & Accounting is partnering with a leading organization in North Scottsdale to find a detail-oriented Staff Accountant for a temp-to-hire opportunity. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and have a passion for accuracy and efficiency, we want to hear from you.


What You'll Do

  • Review and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and post journal entries to maintain precise financial records.
  • Support month-end close processes and meet critical deadlines.
  • Manage 1099 preparation and filing with accuracy.
  • Utilize Sage Software for accounting tasks (experience highly preferred).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and maintain operational excellence.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of accounting experience.
  • BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Business (preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in Sage Software (highly preferred).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Position Details

  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Location: 100% in-office, North Scottsdale, AZ
  • Pay Range: $31.25 - $38.46 per hour (competitive hourly rate)
